She was a success on the English stage before duplicating that success on Broadway. She won an Academy Award for playing the title role in Mary Poppins and was nominated for her performance in The Sound of Music. Additionally, she received Tony Award nominations for her roles in Camelot and My Fair Lady. Andrews worked on a number of acclaimed films with husband Blake Edwards, and was made an English dame in 2000.

Andrews' stepfather sponsored lessons for her, first at the Cone-Ripman School (now known commonly as ArtsEd), an independent arts educational school in London. continued her academic education at the nearby Woodbrook School, a local state school in Beckenham.

Early Carrer:

Andrews first found success on the English stage in the late 1940s, and then moved to America in the 1950s, where she starred in the musical The Boyfriend from 1954 to 1955. The following year, she starred in My Fair Lady as Eliza Doolittle, a role that earned her a Tony Award nomination for best actress in a musical. She followed that stellar performance with another lead role in the musical Camelot in 1960, for which she earned her second Tony Award nomination.

Film Success :

In 1963, Walt Disney asked Andrews if she would like to star in his upcoming production, a lavish musical fantasy that combined live-action and animation. She agreed on the condition if she didn't get the role of Doolittle in the pending film production of Mi bella dama (1964). After Audrey Hepburn was cast in My Fair Lady, Andrews made an auspicious film debut in Walt Disney's Mary Poppins (1964),Is the only actress to be nominated for (and later win) the Oscar in the Lead Actress category in a Walt Disney film (Mary Poppins (1964)). which earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress. In the 1980s, She starred in 1981's S.O.B., which provided a satirical look at Hollywood and was directed by her second husband Blake Edwards with roles that were entirely different from anything she had been seen in before. The next year, Andrews took gender-bending to new heights as a woman who pretends to be man pretending to a woman in Victor/Victoria in 1982 which earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role.  Gloria (1980) (both directed by John Cassavetes. Recent Work:

More recently, Julie Andrews performed as the voice of Queen Lillian in the second and third installments of the animated film series Shrek.  In 2001, she starred in El diario de la princesa (2001), alongside then-newcomer Anne Hathaway. The family film was one of the most successful G-Rated films of that year, and Andrews reprised her role as Queen Clarisse Renaldi in El diario de la princesa 2 (2004). In 2015 Andrews made a surprise appearance at the Oscars, greeting Lady Gaga who paid her homage by singing a medley from The Sound of Music. This became a social media sensation, trending all over the world.
Lyndon Terracini announced in August 2015 that Andrews will direct My Fair Lady in 2016 for Opera Australia at the Sydney Opera House


Personal Life:

Andrews has been married twice, first to set designer Tony Walton from 1959 until 1967, then to director Blake Edwards from 1969 until his death in 2010.
Andrews married Walton on 10 May 1959 in Weybridge, Surrey. They had first met in 1948 when Andrews was appearing at the London Casino in the show Humpty Dumpty. Andrews and Walton headed back to Britain in September 1962 to await the birth of daughter Emma Katherine Walton, who was born in London two months later.
Andrews married Edwards in 1969; his children from a previous marriage, Jennifer and Geoffrey, were 3 and 5 years older than Emma, Andrews' daughter with Tony Walton.In the 1970s, Edwards and Andrews adopted two daughters; Amy in 1974 and Joanna in 1975. In addition to film acting, Spacey has earned acclaim for his work as a film producer, director and writer and is a well-respected theater actor.

Early Life and Carrer:

He channeled his rebellious energy into acting and transferred to Los Angeles' drama-centric Chatsworth High School, where he graduated co-valedictorian. Former classmate Val Kilmer convinced the skilled impressionist to enroll in New York City's renowned Julliard School. He left Juliard after two years later.

In 1969, he graduated from Thousand Oaks High School in southern California. appearing in a number of television and film roles. Poseidon his role was Robert Ramsey and in 2005 played Steve Stronghold / The Commander in the Sky High

Kate Winslet started acting at age 7. She starred on the British stage until the mid-1990s, when she appeared in her first film, Heavenly Creatures. She has also received several Golden Globes, including wins for Revolutionary Road, Mildred Pierce and Steve Jobs.

Early Carrer:

 began acting as a child, making her first appearance on British television at age 7 in a cereal commercial. In 1988, she appeared on the TV series Shrinks; three years later, she left school to pursue her fledgling acting career.

Winslet appeared on the British stage in productions such as Adrian Mole and Peter Pan, and had a recurring role on the British sitcom Get Back, before landing her debut film role in Heavenly Creatures (1994), directed by Peter Jackson, In the film, Winslet played Juliet Hulme.

In 2001, Winslet lent her voice to the animated British feature A Christmas Carol. Winslet starred in Little Children (2006) as a frustrated suburban woman who gets involved with a married man. In it she played Iris, a British woman who temporarily exchanges homes with an American woman (Diaz). Released to a mixed reception by critics.

Winslet reunited with Leonardo DiCaprio to film Revolutionary Road  and The Reader (2008). For Revolutionary Road, Winslet teamed up again with her Titanic co-star Leonardo DiCaprio as a struggling married couple in the 1950s. The Reader explores the relationship between a young boy and an older woman (Winslet), and their later encounter when she is put on trial for war crimes.


Recent Roles :

Winslet later won a Golden Globe and an Emmy Award for her starring role in the miniseries Mildred Pierce (2011). The part had been previously played by Joan Crawford in the 1945 feature film version of the James M. Cain novel. Winslet also starred in the Roman Polanski film Carnage with Jodie Foster, Christoph Waltz and John C. Reilly that same year.  In 2013, she appeared in the ensemble comedy Movie 43 with Hugh Jackman and Emma Stone. That year she also starred in Labor Day with Josh Brolin, earning a Golden Globe nomination for best actress in a drama. 

Winslet took on the role of the villainous Jeanine Matthews for the 2014 dystopian thriller Divergent and its 2015 sequel, Insurgent.  In 2015 she also starred as Apple executive Joanna Hoffman in the biopic Steve Jobs, receivng another Golden Globe, as well as the seventh Oscar nomination of her career.

Personal Life:

Winslet is married to Ned Rocknroll, nephew of business mogul Richard Branson. The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in December 2012. 
Winslet was previously married to Sam Mendes, the noted British stage director and Oscar-winning director of American Beauty, with the two having also worked on Revolutionary Road together, we have one child together, a son named Joe. Paul Walker made his big-screen debut in the 1986 horror spoof Monster in Your Closet. After appearing in several television shows in the 1990s, including Charles in Charge, Who's the Boss? and The Young and the Restless, Walker gained attention with a role in the 1999 film Varsity Blues, and his TV days were officially behind him. After working in teen movies such as She's All That and The Skulls,  he got his breakthrough role in 2001 with The Fast and the Furious, which would become his star vehicle and keep him busy through four sequels and a short prequel. The Fast and the Furious franchise established Walker as an action-film mainstay, and he went on to appear in several films in the genre, including Takers, Hours and Vehicle 19

Early Years:

After high school, Walker attended various California community colleges, but he dove into acting full-time in 1993, taking a role in the soap opera The Young and the Restless. Two years later was back with its first sequel, 2 Fast 2 Furious, and Walker was again along for the ride. He  then appeared in a few more action-oriented movies, including Timeline (2003), Into the Blue (2005) and Running Scared (2006), while also signing on to appear in the ensemble drama Noel (2004) and the children's adventure movie Eight Below (2006).

Also showed his range as an actor in the 2006 war drama Flags of Our Fathers, directed by Clint Eastwood. Keaton had his first hit with Mr. Mom. He later worked with directors Tim Burton (Beetlejuice, Batman), Kenneth Branagh and Quentin Tarantino, and in the new millennium won great acclaim for his Oscar-nominated lead role in the drama Birdman, for which he's also won a Golden Globe. Keaton was married to Caroline McWilliams from 1982-1990. The couple has one son together.

Early life and work:

At school, Keaton displayed his interest in acting by performing humorous skits.
After attending Kent State University for two years, Keaton dropped out to pursue an acting career. Found work as a cab driver and an ice cream truck driver in his hometown for a while, as he tried his hand at stand-up comedy.  Keaton made his television debut on the children's series Mister Roger's Neighborhood, which was filmed in Pittsburgh. He later moved to Los Angeles, where he started to land some television work.

changed his last name in order to prevent confusion between he and famous actor Michael Douglas. In an interview in 2012, Keaton admitted he chose his famous surname quite randomly, despite the rumors that he was inspired by actress Diane Keaton.

Big Break:

In 1977, Keaton joined the cast of the sitcom All's Fair. He played a presidential aide in the short-lived series, which starred Richard Crenna and Bernadette Peters.  appearances on such shows as Mary, Maude, and Family, Keaton landed a lead role in the comedy Working Stiffs. In 1982, Keaton tried again for television success with Report to Murphy.

Keaton moved to blockbuster fare in 1989, taking on the role of one of the country's most famous comic book characters in Batman (1989) and its sequel, Batman Returns (1992),  in the films, he battled such legendary bad guys as the Joker (played by Jack Nicholson) and the Penguin (played by Danny DeVito). Val Kilmer replaced Keaton for the third installment. George Clooney and Christian Bale also followed in Keaton's footsteps in the later Batman films.

In 1990, Keaton starred as psychopath tenant Carter Hayes/James Danforth in the thriller Pacific Heights, his next work was a cop in One Good Cop (1991) and then donned the black cape and cowl once more for Batman vuelve (1992). He remained in demand during the 1990s, appearing in a wide range of films including the star-studded Shakespearian Mucho ruido y pocas nueces (1993), another Ron Howard comedy El diario and played as a political speechwriter in the romantic comedy Speechless (1994) opposite Geena Davis on 1994. He  then starred in Harold Ramis' comedy Multiplicity as a man who able to make copies of himself. None of these films matched the success of his early hits, however, with sexy Andie MacDowell in Mis otros yo (1996), as a dogged cop in Jackie Brown: Triple traición (1997) and the mediocre thriller Pacto con la muerte and , Keaton made a cameo appearance in Steven Soderbergh's Out of Sight (1998).


Faltering Carrer:

Keaton's career appeared to be in decline at the start of 2000, with appearances in only a few television guest appearances. He then starred in the 2002 television movie Live from Baghdad,as favorite films of his own, about CNN reporters during the Gulf War. For his impressive work on the project, Keaton received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Miniseries or Motion Picture Made for Television. His co-star, Helena Bonham Carter, was also nominated for a Golden Globe.

He started working on a series of film projects. He was originally to play the role of Dr. Jack Shephard in the TV show Lost (2004) and played the president in the 2004 comedy First Daughter starring Katie Holmes. In 2005, he appeared in three films: the independent drama Game 6; the supernatural thriller White Noise; and the family friendly Herbie Fully Loaded.

New Directions:

In 2006, Keaton voiced one of the characters in the popular animated film Cars. The next year, he returned to television with a role in The Company, a movie about the CIA. He stepped behind the camera in 2008, when he made his directorial debut on the small-budget independent drama The Merry Gentleman.

 Keaton returned to his comedic roots with 2009's Post Grad, playing the father of a recent college student starting out in life. He has appeared in three films that were nominated for the Best Picture Oscar: Toy Story 3 (2010),
Working with Damon Wayans Jr., Will Ferrell, and Mark Wahlberg, Keaton starred in The Other Guys as well, an upcoming action comedy. 

In the fall of 2014, Keaton executed an acting tour de force with his lead role in Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance),  is a winner in the category, directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu and co-starring Emma Stone, Edward Norton and Naomi Watts,  with the actor winning a 2015 Golden Globe and earning an Oscar nomination. Personal Life:

Keaton was married to Caroline McWilliams from 1982 until 1990. The couple has one son together, Sean Maxwell, who was born in 1983. He also dated actress Courteney Cox from 1990 to 1995.
